Candy Combo — com.smartech.candycombo
Last updated: 13 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Smartech ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the mobile game Candy Combo (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and to being transparent about the limited data the App processes.
In short: the App has no accounts and no registration. We do not run any server that stores your data, and we never ask for your name, email address or any information that identifies you. The App does include Google's advertising service, which collects device identifiers — including your advertising ID — in order to show ads.
1. Data we collect
Data collected directly by us
None. The App has no user accounts, no login and no contact forms, and we operate no server that receives your information. Your progress, coins and settings are stored only on your device and disappear if you uninstall the App.
Data collected by third-party services
The App integrates the software development kits (SDKs) listed in section 2. These services may automatically collect:
- Advertising ID (Google Advertising ID / AAID) — a resettable identifier assigned by your device
- Device identifiers and technical data — device model, operating system version, language, country, network type, and IP address
- Interactions with advertisements — which ads were shown, viewed or clicked
- In-app purchase data — the fact that a purchase was made and which item it relates to
We never receive your payment details. Card and billing information is handled entirely by Google Play and is never visible to us.
The App does not collect your location, contacts, photos, files, camera, microphone, or any other personal content from your device.
2. Third-party services
The following providers process data as described above. Each operates under its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to read:
- Google AdMob — displays banner, interstitial, rewarded and app-open advertisements within the App. Google Privacy Policy · How Google uses data
- Google Play Billing — processes in-app purchases of coins and of the ad-free option. Google Privacy Policy
3. Why this data is processed
- To display advertising, including personalised advertising where permitted, which allows us to offer the App free of charge
- To process in-app purchases and deliver the items you buy
- To prevent fraud and abuse of the advertising and purchase systems
Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, processing for purchases is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you; advertising relies on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time (see section 5). Fraud prevention relies on our legitimate interest in protecting the service.
4. Data sharing and retention
We do not sell your data. The information described above is shared only with the service providers named in section 2, who process it in accordance with their own policies and retention schedules. Data may be processed on servers located outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area; those transfers are governed by the safeguards adopted by each provider.
We ourselves store no personal data, and therefore hold nothing to retain or delete on our servers.
5. Your choices
Controlling advertising on your device
You can reset or delete your advertising identifier at any time, which limits the ability of advertising services to build a profile:
- Open Settings on your Android device
- Go to Google → Ads (the exact path varies by manufacturer)
- Choose Reset advertising ID or Delete advertising ID, and enable Opt out of Ads Personalisation if you prefer non-personalised ads
The App also offers an ad-free purchase, which removes advertising from the game.
Uninstalling the App stops all further data collection and erases the data stored on your device.
Rights under the GDPR
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to request access to your data, its correction or erasure, restriction of or objection to processing, and data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
Because we hold no data that identifies you, requests concerning data collected by our advertising partner are best addressed directly to Google using the links in section 2. You may also contact us and we will assist you (see section 8).
6. Children
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.
7. Security
All data transmitted by the SDKs integrated in the App is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Please note that no method of transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Contact

9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App or to legal requirements. The revised version will be published on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Significant changes will be communicated through the App store listing.
